Book excerpt: "The purpose of this research is to increase awareness of spiritual warfare in Korean immigrant churches and educate them of its importance and values. It will help church members to live faithfully through prayer and the ministry of spiritual warfare, and be active in church growth. The United States is the most utilitarian nation in the world, but it is not easy to teach the practical view of spiritual warfare to Korean immigrants, especially, when there is the complexity of both Korean and American cultural differences in the churches. There is a negative perception of spiritual warfare. Ministry of spiritual warfare has been ineffective, because it gained no ground in the immigrant churches and it was ignored due to lack of understanding. The researcher's main goal is to educate and increase knowledge on spiritual warfare to Korean immigrant churches. It is not easy to minister to people in America about spiritual warfare because they are used to seeing tangible science. It is important to know that the Lord's ministry of spiritual warfare exists beyond the boundaries of nations or time. Through research, teaching church members about biblical, historical and theological spiritual warfare improved their knowledge and changed their views. The researcher developed a ten week training session and recruited twelve trainees. They have increased knowledge of spiritual warfare and experienced Satan's direct and indirect attacks. Their faith increased and became active in the church. Not only did their interest level of spiritual warfare increase, but their false belief in knowing who Satan was also changed"--Abstract.
