Book excerpt: The Wapikopa Lake alkalic rock complex was examined as part of a project to study alkalic rock-carbonatite complexes in Ontario. This report describes the rock types and mineralogy of the complex and outlines the history of the mineral exploration efforts within the complex. The report describes the methodology used, previous work, physiography, and general geology. Recommendations to the prospector and for future study are given. Petrographic descriptions and chemical analyses are also included.
