Warrior of the Heart

Book excerpt: Life is a journey, not a destination. In this book you will find an imaginative world traversed by characters, both human and animal, who represent many aspects of my psyche. The two main characters, Turtle and Butterfly - one reclusive and prone to ponder rather than act, the other flighty, ethereal and more outgoing - have decided to take a journey that will lead them into the unknown. Their journey is one of self-discovery that encourages trusting oneself as they explore many of the truths I have come to claim as my own. Ultimately, and together with the other characters they meet along the way, both human and animal, they create a strong sense of unity, a foundation with which to continue their life adventures. In a very real sense this is a self-help book set within a story.
