Book excerpt: Pop was a pixie, he lived in a magical land long, long ago. Unlike most creatures, which were either born or hatched, pixies were, quite literally, formed from magic itself. Pixies were able to teleport, moving from one place to another simply by willing it. Pop, unlike most pixies, makes a popping sound when he teleports.
